Responsibilities:

• Working as an integral team member in lowering overall billing cycle times and increasing collections, the Advanced Billing Associate will prepare a minimum of 150+ basic Firm Fixed Price (FF)/Time & Material (TM) and commercial invoices per month, completing them accurately and compliantly in support of revenue, EBIT, and cash goals.
• You’ll be expected to follow all billing policies and procedures to ensure successful internal/external audits, as well as track and maintain billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other accounting regulations

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business equivalent strongly preferred
• Basic knowledge of accounting processes and practices
• Basic understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DFAR, DCAA, DCMA, DoD, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Sarbanes-Oxley Act preferred
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of accounting software applications such as MS Excel, Hyperion Essbase, Oracle
