Summary of job description
By rigorously analyzing material demand planning, as well as mastering the concepts of demand planning for manufactured parts, he will ensure the continuous flow of materials. He also proactively monitors the production schedule to avoid any disruption. The nature of the integrated system requires Manufacturing Resource Analysts to work closely with various departments to coordinate production planning efficiently.
- Plan the manufacture of parts
- Ensure availability of materials to maintain continuous production flow.
- Monitor production schedules to proactively rectify any disruptions to material flows.
- Define, execute and communicate alternative plans to resolve disruptions to the master production plan.
- Ensure load leveling, upstream and downstream staking of requirements.
- Ensures accuracy of planning data.
Minimum required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Operations and Logistics Management, or any other combination of education or experience deemed equivalent.
- Master of the concept of material requirements planning and supply chain planning. Knowledge of SAP and APIC is an asset
- Excellent command of French is required
- Excellent command of English is required for this position, as it involves communication in English with Bell teams outside of Quebec and/or its suppliers, partners, and clients outside of Quebec.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite.
- The candidate must demonstrate mastery of the following skills:
- Coordination of work between different functions
- Demand management and material planning
- Technical knowledge of systems
- Dealing with uncertainty and ambiguity
- Results-oriented and customer-focused
- Ability to learn quickly
- Understanding of the whole business process
