Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2024 Finance and Accounting Intern. In this role, you will recognize Sikorsky Military Products. Understand the role of Financial Analysts as business advisors to other functional areas. Gain an understanding of the impact of various areas on Sikorskys financial statements. Develop proficiency with Lockheed Martin systems (ie mainframe, Hyperion, SAP, etc). Document critical Finance processes. Present summer experience(s)to senior management.. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of preparing monthly outlook forecasts for order, sales and ebit outlook utilizing hyperion, in addition to LRP and Operating Plan. Individuals must be energetic self starters looking to learn and improve the process of accounting and reporting for a variety of Finance activities. Must be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management, or other related discipline from an accredited college/university.
- Strong Excel/PowerPoint Skills
- Detailed Oriented
- Self Starter
- Strong Analytical Skills
Desired Skills:
- Individuals must possess good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be comfortable working with computers. (Excel knowledge preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational skills
- Exposure to SAP/Hyperion/ECS (Preferred but not required)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
