We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in St. John’s, NL!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements
- Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- Tracking and analysis of various statistics
- Assist with weekly management reports
- Preparation of government and other regulatory submissions
- Assist with the timely and accurate completion of the year-end audit
- Preparation of other analysis and reports
- Other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma with a concentration in accounting
- Exceptional computer skills, experience with MS Office and other computer programs
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi task
- Ability to excel in a deadline oriented environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on a team in a fast paced environment.
