As a Payroll Coordinator III, you will manage complex payroll functions for an in-house payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll processing for all employees, including termination processing. You will handle labor timesheet adjustments, process garnishment orders, and support payroll audits. This role involves providing strategic support for payroll-related matters and ensuring timely payroll processing.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the processing and review of employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain and update comprehensive payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Address complex payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers.
Identifying and resolving payroll issues and discrepancies.
Calculate wages, taxes and payroll deductions based on time worked, overtime and other factors including garnishment orders and creditor payments.
Manage payroll processing activities and assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
Support internal and external payroll audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
Conduct labor timesheet adjustments and maintain labor adjustment database.
Process contractor timesheets and staffing agency invoicing activity.
Ensure accurate deployment pay calculations and handle employee relocation reimbursements.
Address various employee, compliance and legal inquires for payroll related matters.
Process our subsidiaries bi-weekly payrolls ensuring accuracy and timely completion and maintaining a 3rd party payroll system.
Provide training and support to junior payroll staff and ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of relevant payroll or accounting experience.
Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
Advanced understanding of payroll principles and practices.
Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of payroll processing.
Proficiency with payroll software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Ability to process basic functions and formulas in Microsoft Excel, along with knowledge of Windows-based computer programs.
Knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Federal and State Laws, and requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
Extensive knowledge of payroll processing and compliance.
Analytical abilities, time management, organizational and communication skills are essential.
Ability to use sound judgement and initiative.
Familiar with payroll software.
