The Boeing Company is seeking an Senior Intercompany Accountant to join the Intercompany Center of Excellence (COE) in Hazelwood, Missouri or Renton, Washington.
The Intercompany COE is an exciting and dynamic organization that requires collaboration, engagement, and continuous development of process improvements. This team utilizes BlackLine (cloud software that automates and controls financial close and accounting processes) to facilitate process automation and improvements for intercompany transactions, reconciliations, journal entries and other accounting processes throughout the enterprise.
Position Responsibilities:
Supporting system solutions by designing, building, testing and implementing new processes utilizing BlackLine tools including intercompany hub, automated journals and matching capabilities
Communication and collaboration with stakeholders throughout the project development, implementation and sustainment phases; stakeholders include subsidiaries, other accounting organizations, Finance Systems Analytics and Information Technology (IT)
Ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOx) and government regulations such as Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), as applicable
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
3+ years of experience developing automation testing and maintaining automation tools
3+ years of work experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with BlackLine automation tools
Experience with finance and accounting systems and processes
Experience in finance or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementations
System development
Experience working with Enterprise Finance Business Intelligence (EFBI)/COGNOS or Enterprise Accounting System (EAS) query
Experience with processes analysis, processes development and processes improvement
Experience with SQL
Experience with Peoplesoft

Summary pay range for Renton, WA: $102,000 - $138,000
Summary pay range for Hazelwood, MO: $95,200 - $128,800
