Provide strategic oversight and guidance to Sikorsky LOB to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. Oversee staff of 8 leaders and analysts to ensure accurate financial statement and balance sheet reporting for the LOB and technical accounting support to the SAC business. This role will act as the primary interface with the SAC CFO, VP and staff. This position will ensure proactive engagement with programs to address appropriate revenue, profit, and balance sheet recognition, as well as accounting for programs concerns including supporting inter entity activity, JVs, M&A activity and tax compliance and optimization. Lead financial closing and balance sheet review activity, as well as responsibility for ensuring proper accounting for inventory balances, internal controls, and supporting internal and external audits as necessary. This role will be responsible for understanding the accounting implications of 1LMX and ensuring SAC accounting is ready to transition to the new accounting system.
Basic Qualifications:
-Comprehensive understanding and ability to successfully apply guidance in LM accounting policy and US GAAP
-Ability to drive effective change across multiple organizations
-Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion
-Proven ability to make strategic connections across people and process
Desired Skills:
-Comprehensive understanding of RMS F&BO processes and requirements, as well as Government and Regulatory guidance and internal controls (SARBOX)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $127,700 - $244,600 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
