Position Summary
This position is responsible for leading site-level financial operations within a manufacturing environment. This role oversees general ledger management, cost accounting, financial reporting, SOX compliance, and internal controls while providing financial leadership and business partnership to site operations.
This is a highly interactive role that collaborates closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Planning and Site leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong cost control, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Close
Heavily participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Maintain integrity of the general ledger
Manage Intercompany transactions
Manage Leases, Royalties, Commissions, credit card spend
Fixed Assets & CapEx
Manage Fixed Asset capitalization, disposals, tagging, physical counts
Manage depreciation, amortization
Manage capital expenditure process from initial request to capitalization
Manage all CIP activities
Taxes
Manage Corporate tax requests
Prepare and file periodic Sales & Use Tax
Prepare and file periodic City Business Tax
Prepare and file periodic Property Tax
Controls & Compliance
Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and maintain effective internal controls
Support internal and external audits
Ensure adherence to corporate and government accounting policies
Business Partnership
Partner with plant leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Serve as a financial liaison between Accounting and operational departments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
MBA or CPA, a plus
5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing and cost accounting
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Effective communicator with cross-functional collaboration skills
Continuous improvement mindset

Competitive Compensation
- Pay Range: $100300 to $166900 annually
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program
