In this position the successful candidate will:

Drive transformational change for the opportunity lifecycle focused primarily on Proposal Management but also for the Opportunity Lifecycle Management teams. The individual will be a key part of a team chartered with transforming the Lockheed Martin Business Development processes and applications. The successful candidate will support the governance, design, execution, and evolution of the proposal and opportunity capability pillars of GBDS 1LMX. They will work with a multi-disciplined cross-functional / cross-business area team to design, develop, and implement the new ecosystem in support of proposal and opportunity lifecycle activities. Additionally, the candidate will lead the adoption, expansion, and evolution of the ecosystem, through customer demos, ongoing feedback, and key stakeholder management.

Responsibilities will be:

•Support defining the future vision of LM and shape a fundamental transformation that will position LM for future success

•Supporting the delivery of GBDS 1LMX objectives and deliverables related to relevant capabilities.

•Support execution and ongoing program management of process and systems redesign related to capability

•Supporting process development and harmonization meetings

•Facilitating and supporting design meetings and iterative design

•Support application development

•Providing Proposal and Business Development Subject Matter expertise

•Work across a broad set of people and teams - supporting projects to closure, documenting progress and solutions

•Providing thought leadership of processes and background

This is a rotational position supporting the 1LMX GBDS Transformation Program. This position is expected to be a 2–3-year assignment.

•Demonstrated experience leading complex proposals & Strategy & Business Development Processes
• Demonstrated experience with the LM Proposal Processes, Color Teams, and Competitive Intelligence
• Demonstrated experience supporting/facilitating cross-functional teams across geographical locations
• Experience working in an iterative/changing environment
• Experience identifying a business problem/process, solutions, and supporting it to closure
•Flexibility in operating in an uncertain
environment – Prioritize progress over perfection

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $142,100 - $267,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $123,500 - $236,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
