- Direct people leadership responsibility including staffing, daily priorities, and performance development of 1st shift salary non-exempt employees
- Set clear objectives to achieve site Safety, Quality, Delivery, & Cost targets
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment for all employees
- Educate team on business best practices/policies/procedures
- Provide direction to support needs of each area, including manpower, work assignments, scheduling of overtime, and training
- Partner cross-functionally to problem solve product/process issues
- Facilitate machine maintenance & install activities
- Use of lean methodologies to drive streamlined processes and improved quality
- Develop and support the growth of all employees
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
