Summary and Objective
The AOG Mobile Service Units Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating rapid-response maintenance support under a FAA Part 145 Repair Station certificate. This role serves as the central point of contact for flyExclusive’s Part 135, external customers, mobile field technicians, logistics providers, and internal departments to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient return-to-service during AOG events.
The Dispatcher operates in a high-tempo environment where urgency, accuracy, regulatory compliance, and clear communication are critical.

AOG Mobile Service Units Event Coordination
Receive, log, and prioritize incoming AOG requests from customers.
Assess aircraft type, discrepancy, location, tooling requirements, and technician qualifications needed.
Dispatch appropriately rated and authorized mobile technicians in accordance with FAA Part 145 and company RSQCM procedures.
Coordinate international deployments, including travel documentation and regulatory considerations.
Communication & Customer Support
Serve as primary communication link between flyExclusive’s Part 135, external customers, mobile technicians, Quality, and Supply Chain.
Provide real-time status updates to customers throughout the AOG lifecycle.
Escalate critical events to leadership as required.
Maintain professional and calm communication during high-pressure situations.
Logistics & Resource Planning
Coordinate travel arrangements (commercial flights, rental vehicles, hotels, charter services).
Arrange shipment of parts, tooling, and ground support equipment.
Track technician movements and ensure compliance with duty time and fatigue policies.
Optimize technician utilization across regions and time zones.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure dispatched personnel hold appropriate Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License, company authorizations, and training currency.
Verify work scope aligns with the Repair Station Manual (RSQCM) and Operations Specifications.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch actions and event timelines.
Support audit readiness and documentation requirements.
Documentation & Systems Management
Enter and update AOG cases within maintenance tracking and dispatch systems.
Monitor KPIs such as response time, travel time, and return-to-service metrics.
Generate reports for management review.
Maintain detailed event logs for quality and billing purposes.
Other Duties
Support adherence to company policies, procedures, and directives.

Required education and experience
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of experience in aviation maintenance operations, maintenance control, airline OCC, or Part 145 environment.
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance processes and terminology.
- Ability to work 4 days on and 4 days off 6 AM to 6 PM day shift-based operation OR Ability to work 4 days on and 4 days off 6 PM to 6 AM night shift-based operation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. This includes verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and any other relevant information necessary to determine the suitability for the position.
Preferred
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience dispatching mobile maintenance teams.
- Familiarity with FAA Part 145 regulations.
- Knowledge of commercial aircraft types and ATA chapters.
- Experience coordinating international logistics.
