MISSION

Un poste comme Spécialiste Certification est vacant au sein du Département Certification d&39;ATR à Toulouse.

Votre mission principale au sein de l&39;équipe de certification sera de supporter la préparation et participer aux discussions sur la stratégie de certification de nouvelles modifications et projets ATR avec l’autorité primaire (EASA) et étrangères afin d&39;assurer la conformité des produits ATR aux réglementations aéronautiques applicables.

Ce poste sera pour vous l&39;occasion de :

• Développer vos connaissances multi-ATA (architecture globale des aéronefs et des systèmes ATR, caractéristiques opérationnelles et documentation associée)
• Renforcer vos capacités de négociation supportant une équipe qui est en contact avec l&39;EASA et avec d&39;autres autorités étrangères (FAA, TCCA, ANAC, CAAC...)
• Renforcer vos compétences techniques et process
• Contribuer à la certification des modifications et des produits aéronautiques

ACTIVITÉS

En tant qu&39;Ingénieur Certification, vous :

• Supporter les activités de certification avec un rôle transversal au sein des différents centre de compétence du bureau d&39;études d&39;ATR impliquées dans la certification d&39;une nouvelle modification et/ou d&39;un projet ;
• Travaillerez en coordination avec les spécialistes techniques ATR de la préparation jusqu&39;à la certification du dossier final (selon le processus du Type Investigation de la Part 21 EASA)

Dans ce périmètre vous allez supporter les discussions sur :

• L’établissement de la classification des modifications apportées à la conception de l&39;aéronef (selon l’EASA Part 21 para.21.A.91);
• L’établissement de la base de certification et les Moyens de Conformité associés selon la configuration à certifier et l’identification de tout risque ou répercussion sur le projet en informant les spécialistes ou services concernés
• La négociation avec les autorités des moyens de conformité applicables à la base de certification établie et au niveau d&39;implication de l&39;autorité associée, conformément aux principes du LOI de la partie 21
• L’organisation de tout contact et rencontre nécessaire avec les Autorités et/ou le spécialiste ATR Engineering concerné par un dossier de certification
• Le suivi et contrôle de l&39;évolution des activités de certification, jusqu&39;à l&39;approbation du dossier de Certification, en accord avec le planning convenu avec l&39;EASA, ou avec les Autorités de validation étrangères (FAA, TCCA, ANAC, etc)
• La vérification de la conformité de la conception à ces moyens
• Préparer l&39;approbation ATR de la Modification qui sera signer par l’Head of Airworthiness ou ses délégués.

• De plus, vous pourrez, si besoin :

• Préparer les Note de définition des avions ATR en livraison, en assurant la cohérence entre la définition A/C, la liste des Modifications du Certificat de Type et les Modifications standards et optionnelles

PROFIL

• Diplôme de Master (ou équivalent) en Ingénierie
• Expérience de base en aviation, avec des notions générales sur les systèmes, les structures, la cabine et la physique du vol
• Expérience medium en Certification et validation étrangère (4/5 ans d&39;expérience en certification au mieux)
• Connaissance de la spécification de certification pour les gros avions (EASA CS 25 et réglementations étrangères, FAA, TCCA, ANAC, etc.). En particulier, la connaissance des spécifications de certification CS25 relatives à la structure (subpart C et D) et à la cabine des sous parties D, F, G et H est demandée, ainsi que les démonstrations de conformité associées.
• Connaissance de base de la partie 21 (Certification de Type, Certification des modifications, Réparations) et des règles DOA (subpart J)
• Capacité à structurer et organiser des activités avec validation
• Très bon esprit d&39;équipe
• Bonnes compétences en communication orale et écrite
• Niveau de négociation en anglais et français
• Une connaissance de la gestion des non-conformités serait un plus
• Une connaissance du programme ATR serait un plus
• Anglais et Français : Intermediaire
• Italien : serait un plus

MISSION

A vacancy has arisen for a Certification Specialist within ATR Certification Department in Toulouse.

Your main mission inside the certification team will be to support the preparation of the certification strategy of any new ATR modification and participate to the discussions with the Primary (EASA) and Foreign Authorities in order to ensure the compliance of the ATR products to the applicable aeronautical regulations.

This position will be an opportunity for you to:

ACTIVITIES

As Certification Engineer, you will:

• Support the certification activities with a transversal role within the different ATR Design Office departments involved in the certification of a new modification and/or project.
• Support the coordination with the ATR technical specialists from the preparation up to the final dossier certification (according to the Type Investigation Requirements of the EASA Part 21).

• Within this perimeter you will participate to the discussions for:
  • The establishment of the classification of the modifications to the aircraft design (according to EASA Part 21 para.21.A.91)
  • The establishment of the certification basis and associated Means of Compliance according to the configuration to be certified and the identification of any risk or repercussion informing the concerned specialists or departments
  • The negotiation and agreement with the Authorities of the Means of Compliance applicable to the established Certification basis and associated Authority’s Level of Involvement according to the principles of the Part21 LOI
  • The organization of any necessary contact and meeting with the Authorities and / or ATR Engineering specialist concerned by a certification dossier
  • The monitoring and control of the evolution of the certification activities, until the approval of the Certification dossier, in agreement with the planning agreed with EASA, or with the foreign validation Authorities (FAA, TCCA, ANAC, etc)
  • The checking of the design compliance to those means
  • The preparation of the Modification approval to be signed by the Head of the Office of Airworthiness or his delegates.

• In addition and if needed, you will be able to:
  • Prepare the Definition Notes of the A/C to be delivered ensuring consistency between the A/C definition, the list of Type Certificate Changes and the standard and optional Changes

PROFILE

• Master degree (or equivalent) in Engineering
• Basic experience in aviation, with general notions in systems, structures, cabin and flight physics
• Medium experience in Certification and Foreign Validation (up to around 4/5 years of experience in certification)
• Deep knowledge of Certification Specification for Large Airplanes (EASA CS 25 and foreign regulations, FAA, TCCA, ANAC, etc.). In particular, the certification specification CS 25 knowledge of structures (subpart C and D) and cabin safety (from subparts D, F, G, and H) is requested as well as the associated means of compliance.
• Basic knowledge of Part 21 (Type Certification, Changes to the Type Certificate and Repairs) and DOA rules (Subpart J)
• Ability to structure and organize activities with request for validation.
• Very good team spirit mindset
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Negotiation level in English and French
• Management of the production non-conformities would be a plus
• A knowledge of the ATR program would be a plus
• English and French: Intermediate
• Italian: would be a plus
