StandardAero is seeking a motivated, eager, and innovative student to join our team for the 2024!

As an Administrative/Office Intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence. 

We are seeking an Office Intern to support our Scottsdale headquarters with day-to-day general clerical, front lobby and receptionist functions to facilitate successful support of our corporate processes and ensure continuity of operations. 

This is a 10–12-week, paid internship and part-time basis. 

Specific Accountabilities

  • Cordially greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Communicate effectively and politely with customers, colleagues, and managers
  • Answer a high-volume of calls from a multi-line system, screening callers and directing them to appropriate contacts
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Provide mailroom services including sorting of incoming and outgoing mail 
  • Receive, sort and send courier packages 
  • Maintain office security by following established security and access control procedures 
  • Performs other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in business administration, or related field currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Skilled in the use of MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in written format
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and a focus on delivery
  • Self-directed, results-oriented, and flexible
  • Works well under pressure and adheres to tight deadlines
  • Ability to sit for long periods
  • Ability to view computer monitor for long periods
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications 
  • Experience with soft-consoles or multi-line phone systems 
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers, scanners and mail machines
  • Punctual and reliable
