Join our Strategic and Missile Defense team. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant in Silverdale, Washington .

In this dynamic role you will perform a variety of administrative functions for management and department personnel such as:

• Produce reports, presentations, briefs, memos and finished documents.
• Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes and coordinate logistics.
• Organize and schedule appointments and meetings to prevent conflicts.
• Perform training coordinator function for department.
• Monitor and report employee training status and enroll employees in classes.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, make reservations, processes expense reports and maintain information organized.
• Monitor and update overtime distribution records and KARDEX.
• Monitor office and first aid supplies and submit requests for replenishment.
• Provide back-up support to the Resident Director office as required.
• Perform other duties similar in nature as required.
• Set up and maintain alphabetical, numerical/subject files
• Receive calls and making proper referrals
• Pick up and distribute mail
• Exercise appropriate interpersonal skills in interacting with employees and customers.

Basic Qualifications:
• Previous Administrative experience.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with making travel arrangements.
• Experience with scheduling meetings.
• Experience in preparing documents, briefs and presentations.
• US citizenship is required for this role. Cannot be a dual citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance. Interim Secret Clearance required prior to start.

• Demonstrate organizational and problem solving skills using initiative and discretion.
• Be a self-starter possessing excellent organizational skills, attentive to detail and exhibit a professional demeanor.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $39,500 - $75,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
