Description:This position will support the Vice President of Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) within the Tactical Missiles Line of Business for Missiles and Fire Control. In addition to standard administrative duties, responsibilities include:

Managing meeting schedules, coordinating meetings and appointments.

Arranging domestic and international travel reservations.

Preparing and processing expense reports and event registration.

The successful candidate should possess the ability to independently handle office management functions such as managing correspondence, ordering/maintaining office supplies, preparing presentations, tracking open items and identifying ways to streamline office activities.

The successful candidate must communicate with various levels of LM personnel, client base, government agencies.

The successful candidate must exercise discretion and sound judgment.

This role is often the first point of contact for other executives, therefore a professional presence and experience with these interactions is highly desirable.
Basic Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting executive-level management

Advanced computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office suite as well as knowledge of how to effectively integrate with Apple iPhone services

Demonstrated experience performing a variety of secretarial and administrative duties

Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining alphabetical, numerical and/or subject files; screening callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail

Demonstrated ability to multi-task

Effective time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and quickly adjust to changing priorities Prior experience with making / changing domestic and international travel, meeting arrangements, and expense reports

Attention to detail

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to deal with executive level contacts both within and outside of Lockheed Martin

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
