Administrator; 6 month contract; based in Stevenage; Up to 16 Per Hour PAYE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a leading defence client in Stevenage as an Administrator. the company is in the process of scanning our paper personnel files, so they can store them electronically. The purpose of this role is to help us filter out the non-essential papers from the files before they are sent for scanning.
Responsibilities:
Working autonomously, you will open each folder and remove the non-essential information. This will be placed in secure disposal bags, and sent for safe disposal.
You will then re-place the essential information that we need to keep, in the correct category and replace the papers back into the folder.
Don’t worry if you have no experience or knowledge in the HR and Data Storage field, we will provide you with a good understanding of what data is important to keep and what can be disposed of.
You will learn what information is essential under Group Data Protection legislation.
Skill set/experience required:
You will be quick to learn, have a very good ability to skim read a document and ascertain what it is, and be comfortable to make decisions about compliance with storage rules. Of-course, if in doubt, we will be on hand to guide you.
You will be comfortable working by yourself, and you will be a careful and diligent character. Accuracy and attention to details is required along with the ability to follow a process and clear instructions.
