Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Aftermarket Intelligence Specialist to join our Sales team based in Miami, FL.

This position is located in Miami, FL.

You will be part of a team driving  market intelligence regional activities in the Latin America & The Caribbean region supporting the Market & Messaging team by delivering global commercial aviation services forecasts, intelligence and business analysis and reports, through concise and impactful insights, in to improve Airbus present and future services, and enable strategic aftermarket decisions across Airbus.

Your Working Environment:

The Airbus Training Center (ATC) in Miami provides flight and maintenance crew training for Airbus airline customers – primarily for those based in the Americas. The custom-designed, 110,000-square-foot complex trains more than 2,000 cadets each year in a range of (six) full-flight simulators, innovative computer-based training classrooms, and cabin door and slide trainers – all simulating the A320, A330, A340 and A350 XWB families of aircraft. In Miami you’ll also find the Airbus Latin America headquarters. A team of 60 employees there provides sales, marketing, contracts, customer support and communications for the region’s commercial aircraft, helicopters and space & defense divisions.

Your Challenges:

Primary Responsibilities:

Build the regional Global Services Forecast (GSF) - next 20-yrs services demand forecast specific to your region (15):

  • Ensure development, overall coherence and continuous improvement of the regional services demand forecast, including forecasting methodologies

  • Identify data sources to produce agile regional projections

  • Support the integration of regional GSF dataset into Airbus centralized visualization tools

  • Provide advisory support to Airlines & Services Marketing teams on services addressable market computation in your region.

  • Handle the creation of GSF external & internal communication material for the yearly regional roll out, together with global and local counterparts, and under the supervision of Airbus Communication teams for any external reveal.

Understand industry players strategies at regional level (35):

  • Map regional competitors’ landscape, set up & footprint, strategy and identify main differentiators

  • Develop regional intelligence databases, jointly with Airbus Commercial counterparts. Proactively propose data integration solutions at competitor level.

  • Propose regular regional forums to share competitive intelligence dossiers with your main interfaces

  • Participate in regional events as appropriate and report main findings in a structured and detailed way to the regional and central services communities.

Support the aftermarket strategy business development efforts (35):

  • Take part and/or lead strategic missions to supply the organization with competitive positioning and support decision-making for Airbus Services business development & strategy.

  • Provide contextual information to business development teams when needed to assist on their respective projects in relation with political, economic, environmental, regulatory, market situation

  • Propose cultural awareness to the local team members as needed for their respective business related activities in Latin America & the Caribbean region

  • Identify and consolidate major market trends and moves in your region, jointly with the Airlines & Services Marketing team, with a particular attention to Services domains not covered today by Airbus Commercial (non-addressed markets, innovations, sustainability positioning, and many more…). Formalize identified trends through creative and documented reports.

  • Build a strong and reliable network of partners inside and outside Airbus and rely on as a primary source of information to build/update market intelligence regional database

Deliver regional societal watch reports on general hot topics than can affect commercial aviation and services performance (5)

Develop clear and creative presentations for Airbus aftermarket strategy needs (5)

Participate in the “Market & Messaging” team activities reviews, and support the “Market Regional Network” (5)

Your role and responsibilities can be adapted according to the department&39;s evolving priorities.

Additional Responsibilities:

Other duties as assigned and take part in the development of knowledge sharing tools to align all partners on one set of information and modernize/standardize our main results


 

Your Boarding Pass:

  • Bachelors/Undergraduate degree(or equivalent) in engineering or business

  • 5 years experience in marketing, market intelligence, business analyst, analyst firms or any other related roles

  • Previous experience(s) in Commercial Aviation and/or Aviation Services is a plus

  • Up to 10 Domestic and International travel involved

  • Fluency in English is required, proficiency/fluency in Spanish is a plus


 

Ability to work in the US without current, or future, need for work authorization/visa sponsorship is required for this opportunity.
