Job Description:



To monitor, audit and analyse Emirates aircraft cabin appearance and aesthetics to ensure that our customers experience a truly and consistently excellent cabin environment. A constant and comprehensive evaluation of the entire cabin product, with a defined focus on the premium product will ensure that there is degradation in the passengers experience. 



Job Outline:



  • Continuously and comprehensively carry out inspections and audits following the introduction of new cabin products/processes on EK aircraft and make recommendations based on operational and observational feedback to prevent and pre-empt customer dissatisfaction and/or degradation of the overall product experience.




  • Ensure a defined ?ownership? of individual aircraft by individual team members, ensuring that at any given time, a registration owner will know its overall appearance, aesthetic/functional appeal and quality status.




  • Continuously monitor and audit cabin appearance of the entire cabin product to a finite level, to ensure that every amenity and product offering is at as a new level. Any shortfalls, depending the severity, logged for rectification or assigned to feedback loop to ensure that all rectifications are accepted and approved by the Cabin Appearance Specialist team before being subsequently closed.




  • Proactively and comprehensively monitor every aspect of the entire cabin product design and installation, and highlight any current or potential shortfall that may lead to a degradation of the passenger experience both aesthetically and functionally to Technical Services. Provide a robust ideas-to-solutions input for in-situ, short-term application and medium-term shop capabilities to resolve any shortfalls and follow up with Technical Services until a satisfactory resolution is found, implemented and proven. This is done whilst keeping in mind the overall cost base, and the relevance and suitability of more ?value added? solutions.




  • Carry out constant assessments of Kiosk Information System (KIS) reports, passenger surveys and Cabin Crew comments to determine and resolve any hidden issues that are evident during all flights but remain hidden on the ground, including, Crew based amenity installations and premium product offerings.




  • Advice the Senior Manager Base Ops Management & Recovery of discrepancies observed during day to day inspection of the entire fleet and recommend & initiate corrective action, modification and/or training in order to improve the cabin appearance standard, cleaning processes and overall product.




  • Continually appraise the suitability of any changes in cleaning materials or procedural operations in order to ensure the implementation of best practices. Post Mini Deep Clean auditing and appraisals will be carried out to ensure that practices are being adhered to.




  • Carry out detailed assessments of any new cabin products or initiatives on newly delivered aircraft and post modifications, to ensure that they are suitable for long-term & short-term maintainability, reliability, comfort, aesthetic appeal and robustness. Any concerns are highlighted to Technical Services and continuously monitored until they are modified to a satisfactory and acceptable standard.





Job Requirements:



Engineering.Cabin : 5+ Years


Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) :

Business administration or marketing would be an advantage.


Experience in Customer Service industry with preference to IFS cabin crew experience.


The ideal candidate should: 


- have a valid UAE /Airport Police driving permit. 


- have a strong Interpersonal Skills (written and oral) and the ability to work in a diverse multicultural environment. 


- be assertive but sensitive and have the initiate to work alone on most tasks. 


- have a keen eye for detail and the ability to observe activities in the cabin on the front line without interfering with the operation.
