Position Overview
We are seeking an Aircraft Logs and Records Technician to support Intermediate-Level aircraft maintenance operations at FRCMA Oceana. This position supports F404-GE-400/402 and F414-GE-400 engine and module maintenance, Ground Support Equipment operations, and aircraft maintenance documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain aircraft, engine, ALSS, egress, armament, and support equipment logbooks and records
- Perform aircraft recordkeeping data entry, retrieval, corrections, and reporting
- Prepare maintenance reports, correspondence, archives, backups, and deployment records
- Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance documentation
- Track technical directives, inspections, maintenance discrepancies, and material control records
- Support Maintenance Control, Logs and Records, METCAL, ICRL, and Gas Turbine Engine Maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with NAMP, NAMDRP, FOD prevention, tool control, corrosion control, hazardous material, and SE programs
Qualifications:
- Experience in maintaining aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records
- Proficient with aircraft maintenance recordkeeping systems and data entry
- Able to analyze and correct data, hardware, software, or entry-related recordkeeping errors
- Experience preparing reports, filing, typing, and performing clerical/administrative maintenance support duties
