Summary of position-
The Sourcing Specialist will support the outside sales, large group charter, and account management teams by sourcing aircraft to satisfy the requests of PJS’s current and potential clients. They are an expert in aircraft types, performance and limitations, and market pricing to competitively position aircraft for proposals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities-
- Source aircraft for all incoming flight requests from the outside sales, large group charter, and account management teams.
- Create and send proposals to clients, to include aircraft positioning and competitive margin.
- Find options for immediate charters and recovering AOG situations.
- Sign contracts for all off-fleet trips.
- Develop and maintain relationships with PJS’s preferred network of operators.
- Collaborate with internal teams to solve any issues in a timely fashion.
- Identify and manage appropriate safety data sources, analyze data, enter findings into our proprietary system.
- Conduct research, analysis, and prepare reports in support of safety investigations and other ad hoc analyses as assigned by the company.
- Assist and support with vendor relationship tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities-
- Ability to grow company culture and act as an ambassador of the PJS brand.
- Commercial acumen – possesses proven experience of identifying commercially viable opportunities and negotiating deals.
- A keen eye for detail that will enable you to move quickly while maintaining exacting levels of accuracy in your work.
- Advanced organizational skills and the ability to multitask, while keeping up with high demand.
- Business aviation industry expert.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
- High degree of confidentiality and discretion.
Education & Experience-
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Approximately 1-2 years’ aviation brokerage experience, including experience with aircraft operations.
Schedule & Travel-
- Standard business hours are expected in this role, with the ability to work outside normal business hours and/or holidays as needed.
- Ability to travel as required up to 10%.

- FLSA Status- Full Time exempt.
- Lifting requirements- Up to 20lbs.
