What Will You Be Doing?
The treasury department is a high-exposure component of the corporate finance area of the company that manages a variety of important responsibilities that are impactful.
The treasury analyst II role is an integral part of the department. Responsibilities for this position will primarily include exposure to managing the companys risk management strategies and insurance policies, managing and analysis new and existing debt and capital market financing. All of these responsibilities rely heavily on traditional financial concepts such as: forecasting, logistics and cost modeling, and advanced financial analytics. Additional responsibilities will focus on process improvement and ad hoc financial analysis projects frequently required by senior management.
The treasury analyst II will interact with both external and internal stakeholders require a high competency in communication skills. Further, the treasury analyst II will be expected to contribute to other areas of the treasury team.
Essential Functions
The Treasury Analyst II will play a critical role in financial planning, risk management, and strategic decision-making. This position requires expertise in forecasting, market analysis, financial reconciliation, and reporting key financial metrics.
Key responsibilities include analyzing debt and equity transactions, modeling debt forecasts, conducting net present value (NPV) calculations, and ensuring compliance with financial covenants. A major function of this role will also involve risk management, specifically overseeing insurance policies and managing the damage claims process to mitigate financial exposure. The analyst will ensure proper risk assessment, policy compliance, and claims resolution to protect the companys financial interests.
Other responsibilities will include monitoring capital markets and macroeconomic trends, reviewing and abstracting contracts, and managing both internal and external business relationships.
A strong understanding of legal and business processes, business intelligence tools and applications as well as effective communication with executive leadership, is crucial for success in this role.
The treasury analyst II should have experience working closely with other support and functional departments, to gather, analyze and present information.

Other Functions
- Management of the Companys major debt facilities, including the banking relationships
- Main liaison between the Companys key risk management vendors and partners
- Ownership of the Companys aircraft damage claims process
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required; prefer degree in finance, accounting, or another quantitative field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience; minimum 1 year of corporate treasury experience.
- Experience in financial analysis, planning, forecasting and management reporting, logistics, and operational management
- Experience leading projects to completion
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced understanding of Excel (Sum product, Index Match, Xlookup, pivot tables)
- Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Strong ability to work self-sufficiently on projects with limited or changing information
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to show previous process improvements
- Knowledge of Python is a plus but not required
