Sr. Business Analyst – Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including the establishment of new collaboration models with partners;
- Project manage the strategic initiatives independently and with a results-oriented vision;
- Identify and mitigate initiative’s strategic risks;
- Ensure Bombardier’s Sr leaders have adequate visibility and alignment to strategic approach;
- Build and evaluate business models while challenging internal and external assumptions;
- Communicate on a regular basis with key stakeholders, especially with executives, on the progress of the projects under your responsibility; and
- Develop a network of internal & external contacts to support project success.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold an undergraduate degree with a strong concentration in an analytical discipline.
- Graduate or Masters degree in operations management or a master of business administration (MBA) from a world-class academic institution would be an asset;
- You have a minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of professional experience in a strategic environment in the Manufacturing industry;
- You have strong research and analytical skills with a commitment to rigor & attention to details;
- You have knowledge of the aerospace industry and contracting processes (an asset);
- You have ability for synthesis and for presentation of complex information;
- You have the ability to exercise full discretion in dealing with highly confidential matters;
- You are able to multi-task under a highly demanding and continuously changing environment;
- You have the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization (from senior management to staff);
- You have a strong team spirit and leadership abilities and you demonstrate flexibility;
- You are able to meet tight deadlines;
