Essential Functions

35 - Perform record screening, retention, staging, assembling and filing to ensure systematic and reliable documentation flow of statistical and technical data for the purpose of creating end item data packages, with minimum errors and omissions. This is to include the screening of incoming work orders for completeness, accuracy and compliance. Review test data against stated acceptance criteria. Perform scanning and computer data entry into company data bases and spreadsheets as needed.

25 - Assemble end-item data packages for presentation to program quality engineers and external customers. Coordinate with quality engineers, customer representatives and government inspectors, as applicable to obtain approval of completed data packages. Must act as a liaison between management and Aerojet Rocketdyne customer during end item data book review time.

15 - Obtain required data package inputs from program engineering, reliability engineering, and quality engineering, to predict product reliability prior to customers review.

15 - Maintain electronic data management files and integrated filing system for all manufacturing related documents, by logically categorizing and organizing all files within the department.

10 - Provide weekly progress reports on status of individual program assignments. Report status on workload and scheduling impacts to supervisor, and as needed to upper management. Work with Scheduling Integration and Program Office on budget recommendations for the processing of end item data books.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelors degree in an appropriate discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have strong research, organization, time management, communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively with all levels within Aerojet Rocketdyne, as well as with external customers is essential. Must also have the ability to assess and adapt to an ever-changing work environment and formulate a course of action that meets customer’s expectations and accomplishes team and company goals for product quality and service. Knowledge of statistics, measurement principles and experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook) preferred. International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) knowledge and experience desired.

Requires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
