Job Summary
As an Associate Systems Administrator you will manage and maintain computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure the availability, security, and performance of business-critical applications. Responsibilities include system configuration, user support, security audits, data backups, and contributing to long-term IT strategy, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
Job Responsibilities
• Administer and maintain computer systems, servers, and network connections to ensure security, availability, and performance.• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and business applications.• Manage user accounts, access rights, workstation connectivity, and Internet applications.• Perform routine system backups, restores, audits, and maintenance.• Support application development and testing processes, including system integration and user acceptance testing.• Plan and implement IT policies, upgrades, and disaster recovery strategies aligned with company goals and compliance requirements.• Analyze performance metrics, maintain reports, and provide regular status updates.• Deliver technical support to end users and resolve issues in coordination with service vendors and IT staff.
Qualifications
• Associate’s degree in business administration, management information systems, mathematics, information technology, or computer sciences and 2 years of relevant experience• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively in a team-oriented environment • Ability to successfully interact with other IT professionals and end-users • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills • Open and responsive to change and demonstrates a commitment to the process of continuous improvement by identifying and responding actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers
