DPP is seeking a Benefits and Wellness Consultant for a fully remote opportunity with our client in New York, NY.

Position summary:
  • The Firm’s Global Benefits team is seeking an experienced Benefits and Wellness Consultant to support the administration of benefits programs across the Americas, including healthcare, retirement, work-life, and wellness initiatives.
  • Reporting to the Head of Americas Benefits, this role supports employees in the U.S., Bermuda and Canada. The consultant will play a key role in day-to-day benefits operations within a fast-paced, matrixed environment where responsibilities may evolve based on business needs. 
Key responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day benefits operations including, but not limited to, benefits education, vendor management, invoicing/billing, Workday benefits maintenance, and respond to daily employee inquiries with a high degree of customer service.
  • Support the leaves of absence and the disability/accommodations process in compliance with state/federal laws and firm policies.
  • Partner with the payroll team on benefit program reimbursements, data requests, benefit deduction reviews, and any other needs that may come up.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of benefits communications, marketing materials, and policy documents.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance including 5500 filings, 1095 reporting, non-discrimination testing, state filings, and any other related compliance deliverables. 
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in U.S. benefits and wellness administration
  • Strong knowledge of benefits plan design, including healthcare, retirement, and work-life programs
  • Understanding of payroll processes, regulatory requirements, and benefits taxation
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with shifting priorities
  • Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience managing vendor/broker relationships and external service providers
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday a plus)
  • High level of discretion handling confidential employee information (HIPAA training required upon hire)
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and influence internal stakeholders 
Education/equivalency:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Capital, or a related field
  • OR, 10 years of experience without a degree
