Business Analyst (Packaging)

STS Technical Services is hiring a Business Analyst (Packaging) in York, Pennsylvania, to directly support the Packaging Engineering team. In this role, you will analyze complex data, develop productivity tools, and facilitate communication between Harley-Davidson internal teams and suppliers to ensure packaging processes run efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed data analysis using SAP Packaging Bill of Material (BOM) and other sources.
- Develop and distribute analytical reports using macros, pivot tables, filters, graphs, and embedded tables.
- Create productivity tools and reporting dashboards in Power BI for team use.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for core team process documentation and computer system tools.
- Coordinate communications between internal Harley-Davidson groups and external part suppliers.
- Assist with packaging purchasing processes and prepare purchase requisitions.
- Manage packaging design records, including drawings, data system loading, and BOM structuring.
- Audit packaging specifications within BOM structures.
- Support special projects and additional assignments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in packaging, engineering, or data analysis preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.
- Data analysis experience strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- Skilled in relationship management, problem-solving, and working with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, creativity, and adaptability to change.
