The Business Systems Analyst III (BSA) is responsible for overseeing the technical execution of one to many projects and tasks in varying IT areas such as application development, application support, systems administration, business intelligence, network administration and others. In addition to coordination and oversight of technical tasks during the execution phase of the project, the Business Systems Analyst III (BSA) will be responsible for gathering and documenting customer requirements by interviewing and understanding customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT practices and terminology in order to be knowledgeable enough to know when to raise questions in order to correctly drive the project execution tasks to completion. The candidate will need to be bright, imaginative, and a capable technologist with strong communication skills, specifically seeking an environment where they will impact the direction of the organization, and be a key contributor to overall success of the business. The pace is exceptionally fast at SNC, and our dynamic environment will see many new projects in the coming year. The Business Systems Analyst III (BSA) will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide user support, Functional & Technical administration for Ivalua Source-to-Pay (S2P) solution
  • Support new implementation efforts by assessing current configurations and identifying gaps
  • Answer ‘how to’ technical and application configuration questions
  • Troubleshoot & resolve technical and functional issues
  • Work with other internal teams, including the integration development and/or support team, as well as Ivalua’s Operations and Customer Care as required, to resolve issues and ensure strong customer satisfaction
  • Business Event Monitoring of customer production environments
  • Performing root cause analysis of defects and elimination/reduction of defects
  • Manage customer expectations in a way that results in high customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate and provide enhancements to SNC’s knowledgebase for customers’ use
  • Facilitate appropriate Business Area / Functional Area approval of system enhancements and prioritization of requests


Job Requirements:

  • Two to three years of system admin experience for a Procure-to-Pay system (Ivalua, Coupa, Ariba, etc)
  • Experience in supporting a multi environment SaaS solution
  • Support / Development of S2P solutions for both direct / indirect sourcing and procurement work streams
  • Proficient in communicating with all aspects of the organization, including leading in cross-functional efforts
  • Advanced understanding of data integrity and management
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding internal and external user expectations
  • Intermediate knowledge of MSSQL
  • Must have strong knowledge of all S2P modules (Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts, Invoicing, SIM and Analytics) and ERP Systems
  • Adhere to best practices in code and configuration management
  • Knowledge of system configurations needed to utilize API’s
  • Ability to foster a good working relationship with peer system admins, developers, users and project managers
  • Needs excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Previous experience resolving S2P supplier problems or issues
  • Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp technology solutions and concepts
  • Ability to conceptualize business workflows and design within system workflows
  • Ability to conceptualize and map out existing data models and system integrations
  • Experience implementing / applying current cyber-security standards
  • Ability to manage to metric based measurements including service level agreement timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, complete tasks and assignments on time, problem solve, work in a team environment, and work independently

Preferred:

  • At a minimum Ivalua Level 1 & Level 2 certified
  • Ability to obtain Ivalua Level 3 certification within a year.
  • Smartsheet experience preferred
  • Experience scripting (PowerShell and / or Python)
  • Supply Chain background and experience
  • Experience building meaningful reports with Power BI and inside the Ivalua platform
  • Experience working in Gov Cloud environment
  • Ability to support international users

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $91,154.71 - $125,337.72
