SUMMARY OF POSITION
Reporting to and working with the Regional Business Development Manager, the Business Development Representative has collaborative responsibility for spaneting and business development efforts to ensure the success of air medical bases within the assigned area. The Business Development Representative serves as a primary contact for area customers, such as but not limited to, hospital leadership and staff, EMS, fire, dispatchers, Apollo crews, community events and other public services related to our business.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
• Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management.
• Work with Business developments activity and functions to maintain and strengthen healthy relationships with existing partners.
• Responsible for planning and conducting in person visits, predominantly focused on our current and potential partners with ongoing guidance from Regional Business Development Manager.
• Driving and implementing sales strategies to attract new prospects and business.
• Build and drive referrals and sales through existing partners by deepening engagement and finding new opportunities for partnership.
• Maintain excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration with internal and external teams as appropriate to successfully implement partnerships.
• Communicate and connect with partners to understand partner organization competencies and specialties to collaborate strategically.
• Responsible for detailed knowledge of spanet dynamics, including, but not limited to, daily transport activity/volume trends, competitor activity/capabilities, hospital service line changes, opening or closing of hospitals, and competitor sales strategies,
• Responsible for meeting monthly KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to participate in bonus compensation plans.
• Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners.
• Support Apollo MedFlight Executive Vice President of Business Development and Regional Business Development Managers with new partner introductions and meeting logistic.
• Be the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders; translate their needs and advocate on their behalf.
• Responsible for developing, ordering, and distributing spaneting items in collaboration with the Regional Business Development Manager.
• Arranging meals and events with catering and assuring correct audio/video configuration for presentation.
• Design and execute customer visits in assigned service areas with consistency and frequency to maintain relationships.
• Establishes an environment of internal and external communication, consistent processes and cohesive flow of information while promoting a culture of professionalism. Act as a liaison with customer to assist in achieving other departmental goals as necessary.
• Will be responsible for attending hospital, EMS, fire, dispatch meetings, night shift visits, educational events, PR Events, fundraising, and community events including nights and weekends.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• An undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Must be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft office or similar applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous sales and business development experience preferred.
