Business Systems Analyst I

Job Description:

DPP is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work location: Partially onsite (Tues., Wed., & Thurs.) and as needed
Duration: 12 months, contract to hire
Term: W2 position
Work authorization: Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a low-level (Public Trust) US security clearance.

Position summary:

The Business Systems Analyst I is responsible for capturing, documenting, and validating business requirements for enterprise systems, with a strong focus on claims processing.
This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure accurate delivery of system functionality.

Nice to have:

Operations and Claims Process experience

Required work experience:

2 years of IT business analysis experience

Preferred work experience:

Job-related experience with government business and/or client companies

About the team:

This team is responsible for capturing and documenting business requirements and supporting the successful delivery of claims processing solutions.
It manages defect tracking, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
The team collaborates closely with business partners to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered as expected
The team fosters a collaborative and supportive “family-style” environment, where members work closely together and with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes and high-quality deliverables.

Required education/equivalencies:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other job-related degree;
OR, Associates degree in CS, Bus. Admin., or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 6 years without a degree)
