Daher is looking for a driven and detail‑oriented Buyer II / Analyst, Procurement to join our growing Supply Chain team. In this role, you will support strategic sourcing, analyze cost drivers, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely flow of materials that keep our production operations running efficiently. What You’ll Do- Plan, schedule, and execute the movement of direct materials (parts, components, finished goods).
- Manage relationships with assigned suppliers and drive performance improvements.
- Identify material requirements based on engineering specs and production schedules.
- Prepare and release RFQs, negotiate pricing, and execute contracts.
- Analyze cost factors to determine lowest total cost while maintaining quality and reliability.
- Review proposals, recommend suppliers, and maintain procurement records.
- Approve purchases within pricing thresholds; escalate higher pricing for approval.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate material flow.
- Support cost‑reduction projects and contribute to procurement strategy.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related fiel(CPIM certification accepted in lieu of a degree)
- 3+ years of procurement experience
- Experience with SAP
- Strong understanding of machined parts, sheet metal, and structural assembly manufacturing
- Knowledge of aerospace or automotive industry preferred
- Strong supplier‑management capabilities
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Must meet Export Control (ITAR/EAR) requirements — U.S. Person status required
Information related to the position:
The compensation range is $75,000 to $85,000 base salary plus an annual target bonus. Any prospective offer will take into account the overall experience the successful candidate brings to the role.
