Silver Airways, a leading regional airline in the United States, is hiring a CASS & Reliability Analyst, in Orlando, FL. The CASS & Reliability Analyst impacts Silver Airways&39; business growth through the responsibility of collecting, analyzing, and reporting CASS data gathered through the root cause analysis process. In supporting the efficient operation of the safety department, this position ensures that company procedures are reliable.
Base Qualifications:
- Engineering degree and/or Airframe & Powerplant certification preferred
- Minimum three (3) years experience in airline operations
- Will have sufficient background in transport category aircraft applicable to the operator’s program, to ensure familiarity with the inspection and maintenance procedures, technical documents, and aircraft systems
- Must possess exceptional communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office (Word and Excel) and in the delivery of CASS reports and presentations
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Responsible for continuously monitoring Company Maintenance and Inspection Systems
- Identify potential risks, inefficiencies, and non-adherence to Company Policies and Procedures
- Provide technical analysis of the monthly CASS Report
- Attend daily Technical Operations Production Performance Review Meetings
- Ensure Quality Assurance Audits, both internally and externally, as depicted in the MM-02, are complied with and perform system audits as assigned by Director of Quality Control
- Track assigned root causes and corrective actions
- Determine effectiveness of corrective actions and monitor as necessary
- Notify the Director of Quality Control of any potential risk areas
- Suggest improvements in maintenance and inspection systems to the Director of Quality Control
- Perform special analysis of systems, aircraft or components as assigned by the Director of Quality Control
- Be familiar with all aspects of Company maintenance programs as published in the MM-01 and subsequent volumes
- Attend training modules as directed by Director of Quality Control
- Keep abreast of industry standards on CASS systems and programs
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Control
- Notify the Director of Quality Control if encountered problems in performing duties
- The CASS analyst is responsible for identifying and reporting possible safety risks in maintenance operations
