Position Summary:

The Charter Operations Financial Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of invoices and billing for high-value clients. Additionally, this position will be responsible for running financial reports and working with company accounting to ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency of financial documents and data along with overall analysis of the flight departments financial performance for use in company leadership decision making.

• This position plays a vital role in the experience of the Charter Departments clients as they have invested their significant aviation assets with Cutter Aviation for professional services to include billing, invoicing, and payment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support as required for the department.
• Maintain positive relationships with high-value owners that instill confidence in the management of their accounts.
• Direct contact with clients, owners, brokers and flight crew for collection, processing, and transmission of invoicing, billing, and payments to internal and external entities as needed.

• Must be familiar with Microsoft Great Plains.
• Must have strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Must possess excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Able to analyze aircraft financial performance using quotes and receipts.
• Must possess a sense of urgency and the ability to meet critical timelines.
• Must be detail oriented, organized and possess the ability to multi-task under the pressure of deadlines.
• Must be a team player, have great inter-personal skills and the desire to work cross functionally with multiple departments.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision and able to see "the big picture" with respect to efficiency and profitability.
• Must be able to understand applicable Federal Aviation Regulations pertaining to crew duty time/rest, maintenance and inspections, airworthiness, over-water operations, etc.

Desired Prior Experience:

• 3-5 years' work experience in aviation field.
• Understanding of Part 91 and Part 135 regulations.
• Experience in a Part 135 or Part 91 Charter Sales, Accounting, Finance or dispatch position is desirable.
