POSITION PURPOSE
Assists in the development of a comprehensive selection process utilizing best practices and innovative approaches with the goal of sourcing high caliber talent for the Company. Develops strong and effective business partnerships with internal and external clients to enhance recruitment strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Develops, analyzes and maximizes sources of candidates, both traditional and state-of-the art, including social media for all Company positions.
- Sets the social media communication strategy for the different positions.
- Develops college recruiting campaigns. Builds relationships with instructional and career services staff at various colleges. Facilitates classroom visits.
- Creates webcasts and virtual job fairs.
- Utilizes the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to review requisitions and match applicants with job.
- Conducts interviews with potential associates using a competency-based assessment model to draw accurate conclusions regarding a candidate’s experiences, skills, and abilities. Gathers information regarding education, experience, technical skills, etc., that may not be address on the application or resume.
- Selects and manages summer, spring and fall internship participants/program.
- Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
- Associates degree (A.A.) in a related field and at least 5 years of recruiting and sourcing related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer and analytical skills.
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree (B.A./ B.S.) in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Previous experience in college recruiting. A PHR/SPHR is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
DECISION MAKING
Makes day to day decisions used to support strategic direction. Decisions often require some thought and are somewhat structured. Decisions tend to be short term and usually moderate cost.
