Plus One Air is growing and we are looking to add to our team of Flight Coordinators for our 135 Operation based at the Fort Pierce International Airport, in Fort Pierce, FL. This is not a virtual or remote position, the new hire must work onsite at Fort Pierce Airport during normal office hours. During evening or weekend shifts however, Flight Coordinators will work remote.

Duties:

• Coordinate all flight operations with Ops, Crew, Maintenance, and FBOs
• Dispatch company aircraft according to Government and Company regulations as set forth in FAR 135
• Flight Follow
• Maintain communication with crews during daily operations and briefings
• Be the main point of contact for communication with outside brokers and FBOs
• Coordinate ground operations, ensuring resources are being efficiently utilized
• Schedule crew and organizing crew swap airline travel

The ideal candidate must be a team player who demonstrates their ability to learn quickly, prioritize tasks appropriately, and communicate effectively.

• Strong communication and organizational skills are required
• Strong multitasking capability
• Must demonstrate computer efficiency and have strong Microsoft background
• Must be able to work in a high-stress environment while maintaining a calm composure
• Prior Charter Operations and Flight Following experience is preferred
• Strong aviation background with an emphasis on FAR 135
• Technically oriented with a thorough understanding of aviation weather, aircraft performance, NOTAMs, and TFRs

• High School Diploma required, College degree preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience dispatch experience
• Must be computer literate/Microsoft

• Work in a high stress environment while maintaining a calm composure
• Must be able to work flexible, rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time, exposed to computer screen lighting, and artificial lighting.
