Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the FV-G (FG/GS-5-9) level, applicants must have at least three (3) years progressive general experience analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions; planning and organizing work; and communicating effectively orally and in writing. At least one (1) year of specialized experience must be equivalent to the FV-F (FG/GS-4) level in the administrative, professional, technical, investigative or comparable work area.

4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
OR
Combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. Refer to OPM's Operating Manual Qualification Standards at, http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/sec-iv/a/gs-admin.asp for more information.To qualify for this position at the FV-H (FG/GS-10-12) level, applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the FV-G (FG/GS-5-9) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience includes: 1) evaluating business processes, systems and operations to identify areas of non-compliance or potential exposure to legal or regulatory risks; 2) communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, responding to inquiries or requests for information, and representing the organization in regulatory inspections, compliance audits, and/or enforcement actions; 3) coordinating data from different databases in preparation for integrated analysis and interpretation of highly specialized data, using statistical theories and techniques to solve problems and draw rational inferences.

Education
- Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or
- 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or
- LL.M., if related
