POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the timely creation and negotiation of aircraft sales documents, interacting directly with prospective customers and the sales team worldwide. Work closely with the sales team to capture all pertinent information discussed with the customer in order to provide alternatives, while complying with all internal and external procedures and regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Lead the sales proposal activity, draft and negotiate proposals, purchase agreements, letters of agreement, trade-in agreements and related contractual documents.
  • Evaluate and determine the most cost-effective and efficient approach to fulfilling sales/customer requests, providing guidance and strategies to leadership.
  • Ensure agreements are drafted in compliance with internal and external milestones/restrictions; modify and create new standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for sales and/or the customer during the contract negotiation process, providing coordination with other Embraer departments, including but not limited to legal, compliance, finance, program management, and engineering.
  • Lead initiatives related to process improvements, new developments and automation of the areas tools and processes.
  • Develop and nurture the relationship between Embraer and the customer throughout the negotiation process to ensure customer satisfaction and enhance the customers’ perception of Embraer.
  • Trains less experienced professionals.
  • Use and continuously update the SalesForce database for document creation and account management.
  • Conducts due diligence for customers, identifying risk factors within Embraer’s “Know Your Customer” process.
  • Expand learning and skill base to a wide variety of job skills and personal competencies, including those necessary for succeeding in a team-based environment.
  • Attend Marketing events such as NBAA/EBACE, or any other offsite activity to support the sales team as necessary.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education:

  • Masters in Business Administration/Management, Legal studies or Aviation required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in aviation aircraft sales contracts, aircraft delivery or equivalent related experience
  • Experience in aviation environment required; strong customer C-Suite relationship skills; strong understanding of contractual language and negotiation; aircraft closing process are required
  • Fluency in a second language and international experience are a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices in their work assignments which typically are complex in nature.
  • Identifying barriers to success, utilizing troubleshooting and problem-solving skills towards development of creative solutions.
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Salesforce or similar CRM software, SAP experience is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Promote company culture dedicated to enhancing customer satisfaction and building strong customer relationships
  • Interpersonal skills: must be able to manage all personalities, including C-Suite customers, builds effective relationships, uses diplomacy and tact
  • Organized, prepared, yet flexible
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required

  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required
