Job overview and responsibilities
Aircraft Records Coordinators are responsible for implementation of procedures and controls established within department or responsible functional group (or fleet type), in accordance with FAA, GMM and department DOP regulations, policies and procedures. Responsible for the overall receipt, accountability, audits, routing, database updates and retention of maintenance compliance records, in either paper or electronic format. Ensure that individual transactions and decisions result in complete and accurate maintenance compliance records and status reports; that are maintained in accordance with the FAA, corporate and department retention policies.
- Responsible for enacting department policies and procedures (on a daily basis) that result in the timely receipt, accountability, audit and routing of maintenance compliance records (paper/electronic), as applicable, for assigned function and/or fleet types
- Responsible for the timely, secure, complete and accurate retention of maintenance compliance records; in accordance with FAA, corporate and department retention requirements, for functional or fleet specific maintenance compliance records
- Process and convert specific paper records to electronic format, as prescribed by department policies, procedures and special historical records projects
- Manage and coordinate records and status reports related to recurring inspections, deferrals, audits and special projects (i.e. aircraft exists, FAA audits, data migrations, external FAA/Legal/Other department requests, etc) for functional or fleet specific status reports and/or maintenance compliance records
- Coordinate with other departments, or working together groups, on projects and initiatives involving or affecting Aircraft Records
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):- High School Diploma
- Strong and demonstrated attention to detail required
- Demonstrated skills, working independently and within and between work groups is required
- Able to multi-task and comply with priorities, even if they change, corresponding with operational needs
- Ability to process repetitive tasks without degradation of quality is required
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products
- Proficient at Keyboard typing in10-Key
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):- 3+ years of airline maintenance recordkeeping experience preferred
- Experience with company maintenance mainframe tracking systems, record retention systems and reports required
- Applicable hands-on knowledge and experience processing and accounting for FAA maintenance compliance records and recordkeeping regulations required
The base pay range for this role is $40,565.00 to $52,884.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
