Summary

The Courseware Specialist is responsible for the management and oversight of all courseware baselines under the Kirtland/Davis-Monthan/Andrews/Moody (KDAM) Aircrew Training and Rehearsal Support (ATARS) Courseware and Instruction (C&I) Bridge contract.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Courseware Specialist serves as the Subject Matter expert for managing the distribution, publishing, update and maintenance of all courseware baselines (approximately 1500 lessons), syllabi, and training materials (e.g. instructor guides, student guides, computer-based/web-based training, handheld media, etc.), for all syllabi identified in the KDAM contract.

  • Works with the Courseware Manager and Instructional Designers, Multi Media Specialist, Courseware Programmers and Learning Management System Administrators in meeting student aircrew academic training requirements
  • Supports quarterly courseware working group meetings, configuration control boards, and other review meetings as needed
  • Maintains version histories, archives lessons, controls classified baselines, controls checkout of documents in the Training Change Proposal process, baselines PCA and final drafts of documents and media, loads lesson to the e-menus at Kirtland and Ft. Novesel, provides support for new SOIs, and actively supports all baseline audits.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bacheloru2019s Degree
  • 2 yearsu2019 experience with AETC Courseware Development standards and processes.
  • 2 yearsu2019 experience with KDAM ATARS training operations.
  • 2 yearsu2019 experience in Configuration Management Principles.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance
  • Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively solve complex problems
  • Creative, responsive, and adaptive in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week; some overtime may be required
  • Solid interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to communicate orally, write, read, and comprehend

Must complyu202Fwith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.u202F Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.u202F All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
