The team oversees key business areas, including Catering, Product, Retail, In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity, Cabin Crew Management, the Cabin Crew Centre of Excellence, and Uniform Standards & Development—each fundamental to our global operations.

As a Crew Training - VR Studio Specialist in the Service Delivery team, you will design, develop, and manage immersive VR and IXR learning solutions that enhance Cabin Crew training. You will ensure these solutions meet business, regulatory, and industry standards, while continuously improving training effectiveness through collaboration and innovative technology.

In this role you will:

  • Support the development, operations, and maintenance of IXR experiences and training simulations. Drive the integration of IXR hardware with training software to ensure seamless learning integration. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to validate hardware-software compatibility and confirm experience readiness for practical deployment.
  • Contribute to designing and developing IXR experiences that are accurate and relevant in a blended learning environment. Review vendor deliverables for quality and readiness for deployment, provide structured feedback to support experience refinement.
  • Oversee the delivery of immersive crew training sessions, ensuring smooth operations. Provide onboarding and in-session support for trainers and learners to promote safe, comfortable, and seamless user experiences. Develop and maintain documentation to enable consistent and confident use of immersive tools.
  • Perform regular reviews and quality checks of content and technology to ensure that all learning solutions maintain high standards. Ensure IXR modules comply with required safety, technical, and regulatory standards. Report and track issues to resolution.
  • Support pilot sessions and user testing to assess the technical and experiential quality of immersive content. Translate behavioural data and learner feedback into actionable insights to continuously improve immersive learning experiences.
  • Research and report on emerging trends in IXR technology and experiences to inform improvement, innovation, and best practices. Contribute to the development of immersive experiences across the organisation.
  • Contribute to the development and analysis of operational, training, and business success metrics. Use insights to validate technology and design decisions, improve experience quality, and drive learning and business objectives.
Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent), preferably in Computer Science, Digital Media, Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline, or another relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Inflight Service or Inflight Administration
  • Background in the aviation or training industry
  • Demonstrated success in introducing new capabilities and supporting organisational change
  • Proven track record in process improvement and design
  • Strong ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience working in an agile environment and an ability to handle uncertainty with confidence
  • Creative mindset with a passion for pushing boundaries and driving change
  • Solid understanding of human-centred design and human-computer interaction
  • Experience with immersive platforms such as Unreal or Unity, as well as hardware including VR/MR headsets, AR glasses, interactive displays, and device management systems
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct usability testing, analyse user behaviour, and apply insights to drive improvement
  • Understanding of adult learning principles, with an appreciation for how individuals learn in immersive environments
