About the Role

MD Helicopters is seeking a Customer Service & Warranty Specialist II to join our Aftermarket Services team. In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for customers, providing world-class service and ensuring efficient warranty claim resolution. This is a hybrid role—50 customer service, 50 warranty administration—where you’ll help operators keep their helicopters mission-ready while strengthening customer relationships.


What You’ll Do
  • Support customers with spare parts inquiries, orders, pricing, and delivery status.

  • Proactively communicate and ensure timely order fulfillment.

  • Assist with urgent AOG coverage, including occasional after-hours support.

  • Review, process, and track warranty claims and repairs.

  • Coordinate with service centers, production, and logistics to resolve issues quickly.

  • Maintain accurate records and analyze warranty/repair trends to improve processes.

  • Represent MD Helicopters with professionalism, responsiveness, and integrity.


What We’re Looking For
  • 0–2 years of experience in aviation customer service, warranty administration, or a related technical field (aerospace experience a plus).

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working with MRP/ERP systems (SAP/JDE experience a plus).

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Team player with a customer-first mindset.

  • Must be eligible to access Export Control Information.

Job Requirements:

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 3 years customer service experience required, aviation customer service preferred.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills appropriate to a customer service role required.
  • Requires the ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time and the ability to follow through on all tasks assigned
  • Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of MD Helicopters product line preferred.
  • The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate
  • The ability to confirm contractual agreements/terms are met through utilization of contracts operating procedure.
  • The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.
  • Regular attendance at the worksite is required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's degree from a two-year college or university; and 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
