Silver Airways currently provides more routes within Florida and to the Bahamas than any other airline and we need you to be the face of our company in the eyes of our valued customers. If you are ready to invest in your career with a quickly growing airline, join us! As a customer service agent (CSA), you are the first line of contact in assisting customers with luggage, check-in, ticket sales, and more!

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Check in customers for flights, check in customer luggage, sell tickets, make reservations, assist with flight boarding at the departure gate
  • Meet arriving flights, assist customers with claims for delayed or damaged baggage, respond and resolve customer inquiries, reconcile ticket sales and close out cash drawers
  • Provide general customer assistance, complying with all safety procedures and station policies
  • Provide accurate gate, flight arrival, and departure information, as well as answer general inquires
  • Assist special needs passengers, resolve customer complaints and other duties as delegated
  • Maintain thorough knowledge and handling of unaccompanied minors, law enforcement officers, Hazmat, and airfreight accepted guidelines
  • Communicate clearly and accurately with customers, as well as ground and aircraft personnel
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager and Supervisor

Minimum and Preferred Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to work any shift in a 24-hour period, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be flexible, willing and able to prioritize Silver work schedule
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Must have professional appearance
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality required
  • Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screening, FBI Fingerprint, & Criminal History check
  • Must own and be able to maintain a current driver&39;s license
  • Current U.S. Passport or equivalent with applicable Visas

Education and Experience:

  • At least 1 year customer service required
  • Aviation experience preferred
  • Must possess intermediate skills with MS Suite
  • Must be able to carry out general accounting functions

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds 
  • Working Conditions: Normal working conditions absent extreme factors
