Responsibilities:
Conduct learning needs analysis and establish targeted learning objectives
Deliver, facilitate, and assess training aligned with defined objectives and performance goals
Perform as an instructor in specialized aerospace manufacturing domains (e.g., Structural, Electrical, Quality, Systems)
Facilitate instructor-led and hands-on training using varied instructional techniques and delivery methods
Observe, coach, and assess individual and group performance to drive improvement
Customize training materials, courseware, and delivery based on learner needs and operational context
Emphasize and enforce all applicable safety procedures during training sessions
Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to onboard and qualify new instructors
Track student progress and document outcomes to ensure training effectiveness
Maintain a productive learning environment and manage classroom conduct per policy
Ensure all training aligns with government, commercial, and organizational standards and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and typically 6+ years of related experience; or Master’s degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years of equivalent experience
Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years in aerospace manufacturing operations or production support
Instructional Background: Experience in coaching, instructing, or employee development within technical or aerospace settings
Curriculum Development: Experience designing and delivering technical or leadership training courseware
Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
Aerospace Manufacturing Certifications and/or Lean Certifications
Hands-on experience in structural, electrical, mechanical, systems, or test operations
Prior mechanic experience in specialized areas such as Wing/Spar Assembly, Electrical Installations, or Functional Testing
Experience conducting job analysis and training needs assessments
Work Location/Travel: On-site training delivery; limited travel may be required
