YOUR ROLE AS A ANCILLARY PRICING ANALYST
We are seeking a detail-oriented analyst, responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies for ancillary products and services to maximize revenue, working closely with the revenue management team. This role involves analyzing customer behavior, competitive pricing, and performance data to make pricing recommendations and execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including spaneting, sales and distribution, product, and revenue management to enhance the profitability and appeal of ancillary offerings.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
Revenue Strategy Development:
Develop, monitor, and optimize pricing strategies for ancillary products such as baggage, seat selection, upgrades, inflight services, and priority boarding.
Conduct detailed analysis of sales trends, customer behavior, and spanet dynamics to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
Design and execute A/B tests for ancillary pricing changes and promotions.
Monitor competitor pricing and industry trends to ensure competitive positioning.
Use data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python) to create dashboards, reports, and predictive models.
Work closely with different stakeholders i.e Route Revenue/ Pricing Ops/ Marketing/ Product/ Data Science/ Operation etc to jointly ensure successful execution of pricing initiative
Support budget and forecasting processes for ancillary revenue streams.
Assist in evaluating new ancillary product ideas with the right pricing models.
WHO YOU ARE:
Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
1-2 years working experience, experience in aviation, airline strategy, or ancillary revenue is a plus
Strong proficiency in using spreadsheets, and data analysis tools (Phyton, Google BigQuery, or similar tools are a plus) for automation purposes.
Passionate about data-driven insights with a clear ability to explain and recommend appropriate strategies that drive impact to the business
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional affiliates/partners in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and concisely.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
