Job Description:

Collins Aerospace is looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist professional. This person will execute financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans. They will be responsible for developing analysis and projections and conducting small projects.

**Position is currently working remotely. Will need to work onsite in a hybrid capacity when circumstances permit in 2022.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Consolidation and analysis of FHA and MRO monthly results and forecasts, annual business plan (one year) and strategic plans
  • Support month end close and provide accounting journal entries as required. Assist in providing information and review of accounting issues when necessary, including audit support and preparing account reconciliations in the ARMS system.
  • Support ad-hoc requests from FHA and MRO areas to determine financial impact regarding customer contract obligations and negotiations.
  • Conducts small-scale projects, completing ad-hoc analysis with minimal supervision
  • Audits financial practices to ensure accuracy and company compliance.
  • Works within various functional and financial teams to solve complex business issues

Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor\u2019s degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident \u201CGreen Card\u201D holder
  • Background in financial analysis, planning, budgeting or accounting
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Intermediate excel skills, including pivot tables, V-lookups, If-Statements
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills along with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Spot, identify, analyze problems and communicate recommendations effectively to multiple levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience demonstrating linkage between business transactions and financial statements
  • Experience working with Balance Sheets, Cost Analysis, P&L Analysis, Cash Flow statements
  • Working experience with SAP or Hyperion (HFM) Planning
  • Working experience with Tableau, PowerBI, PowerPivot, Get and Transform (PowerQuery)
  • Aerospace or Manufacturing background
