Job SummaryReporting to the HR Manager, Operations, the Global Mobility Partner is responsible for end-to-end management of immigration and relocation programs supporting the attraction, deployment, and retention of skilled talent. This role acts as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning workforce mobility strategies with production demands, regulatory requirements, and long-term talent planning. The position combines immigration expertise with structured relocation support to ensure both business continuity and a strong employee experience. Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end immigration and relocation processes to support the hiring and onboarding of global talent Act as the subject matter expert on Canadian immigration programs (e.g., LMIA, Global Talent Stream, PNPs) and ensure timely, accurate execution Align workforce mobility timelines with production schedules and operational priorities Build and manage relationships with key external stakeholders (IRCC, ESDC, provincial programs) to support efficient processing and complex cases Support relocation and settlement of employees and their families to ensure a strong onboarding experience Develop pathways to permanent residency to support retention and long-term workforce stability Monitor work permit expirations and proactively manage renewals to mitigate business risk Ensure compliance with all immigration regulations and maintain audit readiness Identify and manage risks related to workforce mobility, including contingency planning for critical roles  Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in immigration, global mobility, or workforce planning Strong knowledge of Canadian immigration programs (IRCC, ESDC, LMIA, PNP, Global Talent Stream) Experience managing relocation programs and supporting international hires Experience in a regulated or technical environment (aerospace, manufacturing, engineering) is preferred Proven ability to manage multiple complex cases in a fast-paced environment Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills  AssetsRegulated Canadian Immigration Consultant designation (RCIC) through the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants Lawyer in good standing with a Canadian provincial law society, with a focus on immigration law Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) through Human Resources Professionals Association or equivalent provincial body Global mobility or relocation certifications (e.g., Worldwide ERC or equivalent) Experience working with federally regulated employers and compliance framework Skills & AttributesHigh level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and trends.Tech-savvy, with a focus on leveraging tools to increase productivity and improve service delivery.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.Innovative thinker with a collaborative approach to solving complex business challenges.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret HR data andtrendsEmbraces technology as a tool to enhance management practices, increaseproductivity and optimize the level of service deliveryDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectivelyBrings an ability to think outside the box; has a proven track record of creative  problem-solving and consensus building skills necessary for addressing sensitive business problems
