What Youll Get to DoReporting directly to the Ground Operations Manager, the Ground Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing support to all GSE and Facility Maintenance staff and projects. This will include making travel arrangements and coordinating technicians and third-party vendors.Responsible for the coordination of GSE and Facility Maintenance projectsCoordinate and track the status of all changes and updates to project schedulesPrepare and deliver project status updates and provide summariesSchedule and manage tasks/projects done by external contractors as applicableOutsource tasks/projects to third party vendors when required/approvedResponsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and within budgetSchedule all travel arrangements for GSE and Facility Maintenance staff including third-party vendorsManage vehicle insurance for all company vehiclesWork with Accounts Payable to resolve any invoice discrepanciesAssist management to identify ongoing cost reduction opportunities within the departmentContinuously work to optimize workflows and labor productivityAssist with monitoring and facilitating the deice programProvide back up to the GSE and Facility Assistant Managers by assisting with payroll approvals and reviewing GSE and Facility Maintenance timecardsPromote occupational health & safety practices within your department and participate in the development and monitoring of trainingOther duties as assignedSkills & Experience We Value Working knowledge of facilities and maintenance equipment, building material and required standards considered an assetAbility to interpret plans and specificationsProficient with Microsoft Office programsExcellent communication skillsAbility to handle multiple priorities while planning and managing numerous project schedulesAbility to lift 50 lbsTravel is a requirement of this positionMust be able to obtain and maintain an Enhanced Security Clearance qualificationInuktitut and/or Inuinnaqtun language considered an assetPreference will be given to Inuit Land Claims Beneficiaries
