Signature Aviation is seeking a GSE Procurement Analyst to lead procurement strategy, inventory optimization, and cost management for ground service equipment (GSE) parts. This role requires expertise in supply chain analysis, vendor management, and procurement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. The GSE Procurement Analyst will develop sourcing strategies, conduct supplier performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with purchasing policies. This role involves high-level decision-making, budget oversight, and collaboration with key stakeholders to drive cost-effective solutions and operational excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, including scope development, vendor evaluation, bid analysis, and award recommendations; ensure alignment with corporate objectives and leverage in-depth knowledge of contract terms to negotiate and draft agreements that mitigate risk and drive value.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for GSE parts to optimize costs, quality, and supplier performance.
- Analyze inventory data, demand forecasts, and purchasing trends to establish cost-effective ordering practices.
- Oversee vendor selection, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
- Conduct pricing and spanet analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and supply chain efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry best practices, implementing process improvements as needed.
- Monitor and approve purchase orders (POs) and vendor setups, ensuring alignment with corporate procurement policies.
- Develop and manage reporting tools for spend analysis, supplier performance tracking, and procurement efficiency.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and maintenance teams to align purchasing strategies with business objectives.
- Provide training and guidance on procurement policies and best practices to internal stakeholders.
Supervisor and Financial Responsibilities:
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain analytics, or strategic sourcing, preferably in aviation, automotive, or industrial equipment sectors.
- Strong knowledge of GSE parts sourcing, vendor negotiation, and purchasing processes.
Additional knowledge and skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Coupa, MS Excel, and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and drive process improvements.
