airBaltic is seeking a detail-oriented HR Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting HR and Finance decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and budgeting insights. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of HR, finance, and data analytics, contributing to workforce planning, cost control, and strategic initiatives across the organization
We will entrust you toAnalyze HR and personnel cost data to identify trends, variances, and optimization opportunities
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to support business and management needs
Support budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of personnel costs, ensuring alignment with financial targets
Provide regular and ad-hoc insights to HR, Finance, and senior management for decision-making
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparency across HR and finance reporting
Contribute to process improvements and automation of reporting and analytical workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Operations etc.) to gather data and deliver integrated insights
Support preparation of management-level presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
What you will need to succeed University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or HR analytics
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large datasets and translate them into actionable insights
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including Power Query, Power Pivot, and VBA/Macros)
Experience with Power BI and data visualization best practices; knowledge of DAX will be considered an advantage
Understanding of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy and consistency
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
