Primary Objective of the Position:
The HRIS Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing projects and activities related to the HRIS system.

Essential Position Functions:

  • Maintain a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) including the data collection, validation, dashboards, reporting and analytics.
  • Lead various HRIS projects, including UKG implementation support, and system optimization related to HR & Benefits operations, dashboards, complex reporting, data management, security, and data integrity for UKG and other HRIS applications.
  • Perform functional testing on all aspects of enhancements, modifications and new processes related to HR system changes.
  • Plan, design, develop, test, deploy, deliver, and maintain HRIS UKG related integrations of apps, dashboards and reporting across all UKG modules.
  • Lead UKG release implementations by identifying enhancement opportunities and impact associated with new release features/functionality and manage the roadmap for all UKG updates and initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve complex system-related issues and quickly escalate to UKG for timely resolution.
  • Provide experienced technical input in the selection of optional features through active engagement on UKG Community to review the current trends and upcoming feature updates.
  • Analyze and audit data for accuracy and manage problem resolution by overseeing system updates where applicable.
  • Produce ad hoc reports as needed and endeavors to standardize reports for future use.
  • Adhere to company and legislated confidentiality and privacy policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum three (3) plus year of professional level techno functional HRIS systems experience.
  • Experience in UKG / Kronos software with implementation experience is preferred.
  • Post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources Management.
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work and competing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in using standard functions in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional judgment and discretion in managing highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • A quick thinker who brings a positive and high-energy approach to getting things done.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills; attention to detail is critical part of this role.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Maintain efficient office procedures and a system for keeping track of multiple, competing priorities.
  • Professional and friendly communications with potential candidates, co-workers, and clients.
