Job Description:

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for an Industrial Cyber Security Specialist to join our Final Assembly Line (FAL) based in Mobile, AL.

The Industrial Cyber Security Specialist will Analyze and take charge of the security aspects (objectives, level of criticality and expectations in terms of resilience) in conjunction with the IT architect and/or the security and programs architect in the infrastructure. Define and implement the platforms needed to integrate the solutions (security services or products) in new applications. Plan, coordinate, in relation with the other sectors concerned (systems, networks, database management system, etc.), integration needs expressed. Install additional hardware components, software components or subsystems in an existing or under development system, respect established processes and procedures taking into account the specification, capacity and compatibility of existing and new modules to ensure integrity and interoperability. Contribute to the technical qualification and integration into the environment of production. Document the implementation, update and operation processes of safety of the components and organize the conditions for implementing the maintenance security condition.

Your challenges:
  • Work with the international IM Cyber Security team (DS) to tailor and adapt existing security software and services for industrial and OT needs and customer requirements, with focus on - but not limited to - working with the SOC team in the area of industrial cyber monitoring and with the network and connectivity teams in the area of industrial network security

  • Work with all industrial IM product teams to deliver secure Industrial IT and OT solutions

  • Support projects to improve (or recover) security/compliance levels of IM industrial solutions

  • Carry out continued identification of industrial customer cyber security needs

  • Carry out site lead of industrial cyber solutions and service implementation and improvement projects in cooperation with IM products, plant business, plant focal points

  • Contribute to the overall industrial cyber security vision and to the IM Industrial Security roadmap

  • Measure (metrics/KPIs) security and compliance levels of IM industrial solutions

  • Manage their resource needs and contribute to the team’s budget planning

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of the IT security industry awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.

  • Select and acquire additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security as per the enterprise’s existing procurement process.

  • Focus on one location but decisions and support could involve other North American Sites.

Your Boarding Pass:
  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering/Automation, Industrial Security/Operational Technology, Information Technology, Manufacturing Automation or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • 5 Years job experience in information Technology or Cybersecurity roles

  • Preference for experience working in an Aerospace or Manufacturing environment

Licenses Desired:
  • ITIL

  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification

  • GIAC Security Leadership Certification

  • ISACA Certified Information Security Manager

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security

  • (ISC)2 SCCP

  • (ISC)2 CISSP

  • (ISC)2 ISSAP

  • Active Directory or SCCM related technologies
